Become an AYuTe Ethiopia Champion
We are challenging young entrepreneurs across Ethiopia to demonstrate that their innovations can disrupt Ethiopian farming for the better—by driving dramatic changes in smallholder farming and recasting agriculture as a promising, rewarding career for their peers.
Innovative ideas for the competition shall focus on agricultural technology with the potential to improve production, productivity, income, access to finance and/or resilience of smallholder farmers in Ethiopia.

Who can apply?
- Ethiopian youth
- Between the age of 18-30
- With innovative idea of technology to improve agriculture
- With no criminal record

Competition Stages
Shortlisting
30 AgriTech innovations will be shortlisted based on their application by a panel of expert and experienced judges.
1st Round Pitch
During the first round innovation pitch, top-ten applicants will be selected and attend intensive BootCamp training for 10 days.
2nd Round Pitch
The second round innovation pitch will be the final stage of the competition where youth agritech innovators with the rank of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be announced and awarded.
