Addis Ababa, May 23, 2022 (FBC) – The agri-tech innovation competition named AyuTe Ethiopia Challenge has been officially launched with a view to offer young innovators a chance to secure the funding and visibility to scale their ideas and ambitions.
AYuTe Ethiopia Challenge is a national edition of AYuTe Africa Challenge open to youth AgriTech innovators in Ethiopia.
AYuTE Ethiopia Challenge is aimed to identify a winning agricultural and innovative tech ideas with the potential to address challenges of smallholder farmers in Ethiopia by improving production, productivity, income, access to finance and/or resilience, and to award a young Agritech innovator who stand-out in stages of innovation Pitch Competition.
The Challenge awards cash grants to support promising young agritech innovators in Ethiopia aged 18-29 who are using technology to reimagine farming and food production across the continent.
Three innovators who win the competition to run for a week from May 21, 2022 with maxim points will be awarded with 20, 000 USD each, it is stated. The award is financed by Heifer International.
