AYuTe Ethiopia Challenge will officially launch on 23 May 2022 in the presence of members of the Media and representatives of the organizers and partners.
AYuTe Ethiopia Challenge is the national edition of AYuTe Africa Challenge, which championed regional agri-tech innovators in Africa in 2021 with. In 2022, national competitions in Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal and Uganda will award upto $20,000 in each country.
The official launching event with a press briefing will be held at Jupiter Hotel, Kazanchis. Invited Medias will have Q&A session Mr. Tewodros Ayele, Country Director of HEIFER International Ethiopia, accompanied by Mrs. Alemtsehay Dersolign, Director of Innovative Jobs and Projects at Jobs Creation Commission and Mrs. Mahder Akalu, Lead Organizer of the AYuTe Ethiopia Challenge from Fair & Sustainable Ethiopia.
Young Ethiopian with innovative agri-tech ideas will have the opportunity to apply for the AYuTe Africa Challenge from until 29 May 2022. Top-ten shortlisted applicants will go through rounds of innovation pitches and a total of $20,000 is allocated for the top-three finalists as a cash prize award.
